Meditations #1 - This is the first of the series of 12 Meditations. They began as a group of pieces developed with mantras and quotes, charcoal scribbles, pencils and pen, a limited palette of acrylics. Then each one was developed individually, one at a time with color, marks, and collaged shapes. Although many of the paintings had stitching added, this one remained stitch free with “no strings attached.”
Meditations #1 is signed and dated on the back.
