Tree Line was inspired by a forested area we came across on a trip to the Big Island or Hawaii. We stopped on the side of the road to take mass quantities of photos of this section of trees. The cool thing about it was that from a certain vantage point you could see right through to the field and landscape beyond.

Strips of canvas cloth form the tree line.

The stretched canvas is stapled in the back and the sides are painted to match the painting. It is signed and dated on the side of the canvas.
